Personal Pleasures

Interiors

We offer many fine leathers, carpets, headliner materials and materials that can greatly enhance an owners personal driving pleasure. Why not fit Rolls Royce grade wool carpet material to a Sunbeam or top quality leather in a TVR or Austin A-40 Somerset?

Many original manufacturers used cheap materials for their interiors. Carpeting was especially prone to budget cutting with carpet materials made out of just about anything. A truly great way to improve the cockpit on any car is to use superior materials such as Wilton Wool carpet as used in Rolls Royce and Bentley cars.

We offer a superior line of interior kits for many Jaguar, MG, Austin Healey, Triumph, Rolls Royce and Bentley cars from 1950 to now. We also supply and fit smaller English cars with a complete replacement of the interior available in several colors and materials. These kits, properly installed, will return the cockpit to how it was "in the beginning" or better.

We now offer as original Austin Healey 3000 hand sewn tops in original Everflex for those wanting the best tops for their car.

A few of our specialties include:

Interior- We rebuild seats and seat frames and are able to replace entire interiors on many of the cars we service.  Fine leathers, wool carpets and broadcloth headliners can make many a car very nice to drive. We also install custom sound systems that appear original but sound great.

There are many possibilities on interiors.  With this Bentley convertible, we are replacing the convertible top tacking wood. These were hand cut and carved to fit as original. We used close grain mahogany which should last longer then the original ash.

The entire cockpit had been rudely removed way back, poorly disassembled and then tossed blindfolded willy nilly into boxes. The car essentially went into a deep coma until 2007 when we took it on in an insane moment as the owner is a nice fellow. We rebuilt a great deal of the rest of the car as well but this section is about interiors.

Here will be photos of an interior we are fitting in a 1961 Austin Healey Sprite. We are fitting new state of the art insulation as well.
